Scope and Contents
This collection contains a flight book and two pilot's handbooks that once belonged to G. Louis Carner, class of 1934 at William and Mary. The log book is from 1932-1934 and provides information about each flight, including date, make of the plane, duration, destination, and any comments on the trip. The two pilot's handbooks, one for 1933 and 1935, contain instructions on how to fly a plane along with graphs and charts for illustrating the concepts.  The collection also includes a pair of flight goggles worn by Carner while he was a student at the William and Mary Flight School, 1933-1934.
