Scope and Contents
Ledgers and volumes, 1867-1913, of John M. Hardy, a buggy repairman from Staunton, Virginia. Ledgers include name of patrons, work performed on their buggies, and the price of the work done. There are also volumes that detail the amount of money in Hardy's account at the National Valley Bank of Staunton, Virginia and Augusta National Bank of Staunton, Virginia. There is a checkbook from the National Valley Bank as well as repair order book. Finally, there are day-to-day work lists and purchase order forms made by John M. Hardy & Sons.
