Amanda M. Rogers (1800-1875), daughter of John Rogers (ca.1768-1851) and Sarah Tunstall of Lancaster County, married Joseph W. Campbell in about 1825. They resided on a farm in Albemarle County. Amanda M. Rogers was one of five children of John Rogers. In addition to Amanda M., they were Ellen T. Rogers, who married William W. Hawkins and moved to Kentucky and then to Tennessee, John Tunstall Rogers (b. ca. 1805), who also moved to Kentucky, Lewis Rogers (d. 1867) who lived in Paris most of his life, and Catherine Brent Rogers (d. 1830) who married John Farish.
