George S. Robbins was a U.S. Army Regimental Sergeant in the 26th Division of the American Expeditionary Force during his WWI. He served in France in 1918-1919. He was apparently Catholic as he described going to confession and receiving communion. He labeled a photograph of a woman named Rose as the "best girl in the world."
