Historical Note
The Pauline Home for the Aged was a charitable organization that provided housing for elderly women in the Columbu, Ohio aread. It was originally founded in 1887 as The Deutsche Protestantische Wittwen Heimath, changed its name again in 1905 to "Der Deutsche Altenheim Verein Von Columbus, Ohio," and then was re-established in 1918 to The Pauline Home for the Aged and kept that name until the home disbanded in 1999. Currently, the organization operates under the Paline Home Association which provides in-home personal expense management assistance to the elderly of central Ohio.
